WELCOME & HOSPITALITY
Elberton First UMC strives to create a welcoming environment for everyone. In order to accomplish this, it is essential for members to serve as greeters, ushers, liturgists, and so much more!
Altar Guild
Alter Guild decorates and manages all decorations in the Sanctuary and other areas throughout the Church. They also prepare the communion for all services.
Greeters
Greeters are the first people you interact with on Sunday mornings. Greeters stand at the front entrances and welcome everyone as they enter for worship.
Liturgists
Liturgists only serve in the Traditional Service. Liturgists announce all of the events and activities coming up at the Church.
Acolytes
Acolytes carry the flame into the Traditional Service to light the candles at the alter, they also extinguish the flame and carry the flame out of the service.
Ushers
Ushers collect the offering in all services
